IMF projects a decrease in the pace of economic growth in Mexico

The growth prospects for economic activity projected by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), available until April 2024, highlight the strength of the economies in the face of the economic and political events of the last two years . The expected economic scenario considers a continuous decrease in inflation until 2025, and anticipates that advanced economies will reach their inflation goals before emerging economies.

In the case of Mexico, it is expected that in 2024 the economy will continue growing at a rate of 2.4%, and that during the period 2024-2029 it will have an average annual growth of 2.0%.
